A 12,000+ square foot interactive fan event and environment created for San Diego Comic-Con, complete with inclement weather, costumed characters, props and set pieces from the film. The experience was the first time emerging technologies and immersive theater were married at this scale and was billed as "setting the bar in immersive marketing.”
The Blade Runner 2049 Experience was a CLIO Gold Winner for theatrical event / experiential. It was the biggest, most immersive activation ever executed at San Diego Comic-Con with over 8,000 attending in 4 days. It drove exponential buzz nationally and globally with over 100 Million media impressions including Rolling Stone, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter. It continued on to London for the UK film premiere and additional event activations.
