United Way’s Community Leadership and Impact Conference (CLIC) was a major 3-day event hosted in Toronto, with 2,000+ attendees made up of global United Way leadership. Partners included UPS, Wells Fargo, and several notable foundations, and the conference featured 30+ sponsors / exhibitors and 100+ educational sessions via multiple stages — all in one place. We redefined what a conference could be in every aspect, designing a unique and dynamic experience with multiple stages that merged sessions and exhibits, as well as engaging social media opportunities. The strategies developed and deployed in collaboration with UWW created a unique and memorable experience for attendees who shared widely on social media, resulting in the United Way leadership team being thrilled with the results and their attendees and network seeing the organization in a whole new light, transforming perspectives.
